You Have Been Targeted by a Phishing Attack

Oops!

You clicked a simulated phishing link.

This Was a Security
Exercise

Don't panic! You just clicked a link in a simulated phishing email sent by your company Cybersecurity team.

Phishing is the #1 method attackers use to breach networks.

These simulations are performed periodically to help everyone practice spotting suspicious emails in a safe environment.

What did you miss?

Here are two clues that indicated the previous email was fake:

  • External Sender: The email came from an external address, even though it looked like an internal request.

  • Suspicious URL: Hovering over the link revealed a different web address that didn't match the REAL company name.

What should be done next time?

  • STOP: If an email looks 'different', creates a sense of urgency or is 'strange'.

  • VERIFY: Check the sender before clicking any links or open attachments.

  • REPORT: The "Phishing" must be notified using the "Report" button in Outlook/Gmail, or contacting your cybersecurity department .

Thank you for helping keep your company secure!
